In advance of the next ECOFIN meeting of November 6th 2018, the General secretariat of the Council has published the state of play of legislative proposals in the field of financial services.
The key updates for the asset management + insurance sectors are:
- Pan-European Pension Products (PEPP): Trilogues have begun – the 3rd Trilogue will meet in November 2018
- Cross-Border Distribution of Collective Investment Funds (CBDF): Trilogues have not yet started – currently waiting for EP
- Sustainable finance framework (SFF): Trilogues are ongoing
- Sustainable finance transparency (SFT): Trilogues are ongoing
