On 17 August 2021, the CSSF published several updated FAQs impacting the collective investment schemes.

On 12 August 2021, the German financial services watchdog published a consultation paper on the revision of its FAQ on distribution of funds following the introduction of the CBDF beginning of the month.

The Law of 4 July 2021 implementing the Directive and the Regulation related to the Cross-border Distribution of Funds (CBDF) has been published in the Official Journal “Le Moniteur belge” on 13 July 2021. Yesterday the CSSF published an updated version of its Cross Border Distribution of Funds (CBDF) Frequent Asked Questions.

The regulator added a question 11 to its FAQ related to the UCITS.

On 2nd of August 2021, the amendments of the UCITS Directive 2010/43/EU and the Delegated Regulation (EU) No 231/2013 AIFMD have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

On 4 August 2021, the Central Bank published the details of its submission procedure for the pre-marketing activities notification recently introduced by the Cross-Border Distribution of Fund Directive and implemented in Ireland on 6 August 2021.

The CSSF published yesterday the corrected forms for the de-notification of UCITS subfunds and share classes applicable from the 2nd of August following the application of the CBDF.

Following the introduction of the requirements of the Cross-Border Distribution of Funds (CBDF) Directive and Regulation in Luxembourg at the beginning of this month, the CSSF is continuously adapting its procedures and publishes updates and forms on its website.
