On 22 June 2021, the CSSF published its Feedback Statement on the ESMA Common Supervisory Action on UCITS Liquidity Risk Management (LRM).

Based on 2 rounds of questionnaires addressed to a large sample of UCITS, the CSSF is currently engaging with some investment fund companies asking them to implement the necessary corrective measures for the shortcomings observed in the management of several UCITS.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) launched a consultation on 22 June 2021 on the climate-related disclosures that should be provided by asset managers, life insurers, and FCA regulated pension providers at entity and product level.

On June 24th, the Central Bank issued the 39th edition of the Central Bank AIFMD Q&A, which updates 2 existing questions and includes two new ones.

Yesterday 22 June 2021, the CSSF published a revised version of its document named “AIFMD Reporting – Communication with the channels – Description of the CSSF controls and description of the feedback files”.

On 14 June 2021, the Consob published on its website a revised version (V1.2) of its “Operating Instructions on accessing PRIIPs KID and related information”.

The CSSF published yesterday a new Frequent ask questions on its Market Entry Form used to request authorisation for the set-up of a UCITS, UCI Part II, SIF, SICAR, or when asking authorisation of a label (ELTIF, EUSEF, EUVECA or MMF) as well as for the approval of (a) new sub-fund(s) in an existing Fund. The form is also used for the authorisation/registration process of an AIFM.

On 17 June 2021, the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) published a feedback statement containing the conclusions of PRIIPs KID qualitative control.

The CSSF published yesterday its Guidelines on June 2021 UCITS Risk Reporting.

The Official Journal of the European Union published today the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/955 of 27 May 2021 laying down implementing technical standards for the application of Regulation (EU) 2019/1156 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the forms, templates, procedures and technical arrangements for the publications and notifications of marketing rules, fees and charges, and specifying the information to be communicated for the creation and maintenance of the central database on cross-border marketing of AIFs and UCITS, as well as the forms, templates and procedures for the communication of such information.
