Considering the deteriorated health situation due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Minister of justice deposited a draft law to prorogue to 31 December 2022 the Law of 23 September 2020 on measures concerning the holding of meetings in companies and other legal persons. The Law is now effective after its publication in the Memorial A of the 20 December 2021 and its adoption by the Parliament on 16 December 2021.

On 17 December 2021, the European Union published the PRIIPs legislative package in the Official Journal, officialising the entry into force of the revised PRIIPs RTS on 1st of July 2022, the extension of the exemption period for UCITS to provide a KID to retail investors until 31st of December 2022, and the replacement of the UCITS KIID by the PRIIPs KID as of 1st of January 2023.
