Recently, the Consob informed its supervised entities and the public that it has postponed to 1st of March 2022 the entry into force of the new methodologies to submit ex-ante the PRIIPs KID.

The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority published its regulatory fees for the year 2022.

Considering the deteriorated health situation due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Minister of justice deposited a draft law to prorogue to 31 December 2022 the Law of 23 September 2020 on measures concerning the holding of meetings in companies and other legal persons. The Law is now effective after its publication in the Memorial A of the 20 December 2021 and its adoption by the Parliament on 16 December 2021.

On 17 December 2021, the European Union published the PRIIPs legislative package in the Official Journal, officialising the entry into force of the revised PRIIPs RTS on 1st of July 2022, the extension of the exemption period for UCITS to provide a KID to retail investors until 31st of December 2022, and the replacement of the UCITS KIID by the PRIIPs KID as of 1st of January 2023.

On 20th December 2021, the Central Bank updated for the 43th time its AIFMD Q&A, which includes three new Q&A’s.

On 20 of December 2021, the Central Bank of Ireland published an updated version of its UCITS Q&A which includes two new Q&A’s.

On 17 December 2021, the CSSF updates its FAQ on the Law of 17 December 2010. The regulator added a question related to the eligible assets.

On 16 December 2021, the CSSF informed its supervised entities that the procedure to submit SICAR prospectuses for approval has changed and must be communicated via the authorised official channels.

On 17 December 2021, the ESMA updated its “Questions and Answers on Application of the AIFMD as regards to asset managers” investing in crypto assets.
